Sweden sends 93 cargoes of aid to Ukrainian energy sector
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy following the webinar "Restoration of Ukraine’s Energy Sector: Opportunities for Swedish Business," with the participation of Minister German Galushchenko.
"Galushchenko thanked Sweden for its assistance to Ukraine's energy sector - 93 humanitarian cargoes weighing a total of 1,108 tonnes, including generators, transformers, substations and other equipment for repairs at energy facilities after enemy attacks," the statement reads.
In addition, Sweden's pledged contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund is EUR 25.27 million.
Galushchenko underscored that Ukraine is interested in the participation of Swedish business in projects that comply with the Energy Strategy of Ukraine.
In his turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Oberg emphasized readiness to continue supporting Ukraine in its recovery and reconstruction following Russian attacks.
As reported, since Russia's full-scale invasion began, Norway has allocated more than $450 million in grant support to Ukraine's energy sector and sent 28 cargoes of humanitarian aid.
