Naftogaz to help restore oil and gas university badly damaged in Russian strike
That’s according to Oleksiy Chernyshov, chairman of the board at Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"Another Russian crime this time targeted students – future experts in the oil and gas industry. Earlier, 14 buildings of the university were damaged by the strike, more than 800 windows were shattered," Chernyshov noted.
The head of Naftogaz discussed the assistance to the university with the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, and Rector Ihor Chudyk.
He assured that Naftogaz Group would finance the restoration of the educational facility after the specialists have fully assessed the scale of the destruction.
"Our youths are our future, and we will do everything possible to restore the damaged buildings and the educational process at the university as soon as possible," Chernyshov emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, among the buildings damaged in Ivano-Frankivsk as a result of the Russian strike are the University of Oil and Gas, lyceums, and kindergartens.
