Chernihiv region comes under attack from Russian territory

Russian forces have shelled the area near the village of Bleshnia, Chernihiv region.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy continues shelling border areas in the Chernihiv region! An hour ago, the Russians shelled the area near the village of Bleshnia (Semenivka community). We have 40 explosions (they probably fired from multiple launch rocket systems) and 10 explosions probably caused by artillery fire. So far there are no casualties or destruction," the statement said.

Russia's invading troops were forced out of the Chernihiv region in April. Since then, the enemy has been periodically shelling the border villages of the Chernihiv region.
