Air defense forces down missile over Dnipropetrovsk region

On Wednesday evening, air defense forces shot down an incoming Russian missile from the sky over Dnipropetrovsk region.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"This evening, our defenders shot down a missile over the region. Due to falling debris, a fire broke out, which rescuers have already put out. No one was injured," the post reads.

In addition, this morning, the enemy attacked Nikopol, employing heavy artillery.

The administrative building and a private enterprise were damaged. Three residential buildings, a car, a gas pipeline, and some power lines were damaged. A farm building was destroyed.

No casualties were reported.

As Ukrinform wrote earlier, the air defense system engaged Russian aerial targets over Kirovohrad region during the latest missile attack.
