Russians shell Kupiansk this morning, wounding one

Russian troops this morning shelled the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, seriously wounding a man of around 40.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the regional military administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, at around 07:00, the enemy shelled Kupiansk. A civilian man of about 40 years of age was seriously wounded. Currently, medics are fighting for his life," he said.

He said that in the last 24 hours, the enemy shelled settlements in the Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kupiansk districts.

In Kupiansk, shelling damaged a private house, and a fire broke out at a meat processing plant.

As a result of shelling in the village of Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk district, a fire broke out at a forestry.

Four private houses were damaged in Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district, Syniehubov said.

Shelling in the village of Cherneshchyna, Izium district, damaged the building of an agricultural enterprise.

In the village of Oleksandrivka, Bohoduhiv district, warehouses and commercial buildings of civilian enterprises were significantly damaged by shelling, Syniehubov said.

Artillery fire in the village of Vilcha, Chuhuiv district, damaged 11 private houses, a kindergarten, a boarding house, a bakery, and a church.
