Two 'bloggers' who filmed locations of Defense and Air Defense Forces detained in Odesa
Two men who were spreading information about the deployment of Defense Forces units in the region on social media were detained in Odesa.
The SBU Office in the Odesa region reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to the investigation, the 36-year-old Odesa resident was filming the work of Ukrainian Air Defense during one of the nighttime massive attacks on the city. He posted the prohibited content on his Instagram and Youtube pages. In the description under the video, he indicated the exact time and place of the shooting. In this way, he could reveal the location and specifics of the Ukrainian Air Defense system.
The second suspect filmed a video of the location of a defense facility where units of the National Guard and the National Police of Ukraine were on duty. Then he posted the video on his own page on the TikTok social network with a geolocation. He explained his criminal actions by the desire to 'increase' his audience.
"The SBU investigators served both suspects a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (dissemination of information on the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces or other military formations)," the SBU said.
The suspects face up to 8 years in prison.
As reported, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a military official in Odesa who demanded kickbacks for repairing barracks for those mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
