Zelensky takes part in events on Armed Forces Day
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine.
As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, the events took place by the Motherland stele in Kyiv.
"I thank the Ukrainian people, each of you. Everyone who is writing a new history of independent Ukraine with blood, tears, and fire. Writing everywhere: in Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. In difficult areas such as Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, the hottest areas where Ukraine is fighting – all our soldiers. Together you are a force, together you are the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the president emphasized.

He thanked everyone who does the possible and the impossible, who protects Ukraine’s freedom.
"In our history, there are two dates that stand side by side and are connected – December 5 and December 6. Two dates that have a different flavor. Yesterday marked 30 years since the signing of the Budapest Memorandum. Today we clearly understand that the true, very first, most reliable guarantor of our security is the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thank you for this, and may death bypass the brave, may everything be 4.5.0 (code for “clear” in the Army – ed.). Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Glory to Ukraine," the president said.
