The war with Russia will not end soon, and Ukraine’s victory requires that the entire state consolidate efforts.

The relevant statement was made by National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Secretary Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with Ukrinform.

“Those who were saying that the war would end very quickly, that we had already won and would celebrate in April – they were saying a dangerous thing. Sadly, the war is yet to last, and we need to do a lot of work before we win. It is very difficult for us at the front line. Battles are raging in Luhansk Region, Donetsk Region and other regions. Until the moment they end, until the moment the last Russian boot leaves our territory, we cannot calm down. No one has cancelled Russia’s objective to destroy out state. We must live with this, and our decisions should be taken with this postulate in mind,” Danilov told.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching air and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
