Air Force explains Russian aviation activity

Yuriy Ihnat, a spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the nationwide telethon 'United News', an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The enemy is conducting its training flights, and Ukraine is on air raid alert. Accordingly, the enemy ... knows that we will react to this, that we have restrictive measures in the country, in various institutions and enterprises. That is why they are doing it. There were more takeoffs yesterday," Ihnat said.

According to him, the enemy's flight crew needs to maintain their skills. In addition, enemy aircraft flights may be related to the training of young pilots.

As reported, the day before, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine declared an air alert more than ten times due to the takeoff of enemy aircraft and the threat of missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
