Russian missile obliterates apartment block section in Kharkiv

"As a result of this morning’s shelling, we see a complete destruction of an apartment building section. Rescuers are now trying to clear the rubble in order to retrieve people from under it," the report reads.
Also, in one of the most affected parts of the Kyivskyi district, electricity supplies and partly water supplies were disrupted. The utility services are working to eliminate the consequences of the strike.
According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of Regional Military Administration, a Russian missile strike destroyed an apartment block in the Kyivskyi district.
"Several sections of an apartment building have been destroyed. There are people under the rubble. Rescuers and other emergency services are working at the scene," he added.
According to a local power operator, Kharkivoblenergo, energy companies are already working to restore electricity supply to the residential quarters.
Kharkiv was likely hit by Russia’s Kh-22 missiles.
"This morning, the enemy launched Kh-22 missiles from Kursk region. At this time, there are no missiles in the airspace over Kharkiv region. But the threat of more missile attacks remains in place," wrote the head of the Kharkiv military garrison, Serhiy Melnyk.
As reported, at least eight explosions were reported in Kharkiv.
