Cabinet of Ministers allocates almost 2.6 million to help families of fallen volunteers

The government has allocated almost UAH 2.6 million to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs to pay one-time financial assistance to relatives of volunteers killed in combat.

This was reported on Telegram by the government's permanent representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, Ukrinform reports.

"UAH 2 million 582.5 thousand has been allocated to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs on a non-refundable basis at the expense of the state budget reserve fund to pay a one-time financial assistance to family members of volunteers who died while providing volunteer assistance in the area of measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine, protect the security of the population and the interests of the state in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine," he wrote.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine provided 10 tips to help volunteers while working in the frontline areas.
