Warsaw has not yet transferred the MiG-29 fighter jets to Kyiv, as the issue of transferring Ukrainian technology to Poland remains unresolved.

This was announced on Radio ZET by Polish Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk, according to Ukrinform.

“We have not transferred MiG fighters to Ukraine… Dialogue between Poland and Ukraine is ongoing,” Tomczyk stated.

He noted that the Poles had “clearly stated”: as part of developing its own capabilities in the field of unmanned technologies, Poland would like to draw on Ukrainian experience and capabilities in this sector.

“Of course, we will transfer the equipment to Ukraine if this issue is finally agreed upon,” Tomczyk said.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland noted that Warsaw’s position remains unchanged.

“We have agreed with the Ukrainian side on the transfer of technology. If this issue is finally settled, then the issue of transferring the MiGs will also be successfully concluded,” Tomczyk stated.
